EASTERN HVAR
SUCURAJ, CROATIA
Sucuraj, the Quiet Side of Hvar
A fishing town of about 400 residents on the east cape of the island, one of the sunniest spots on Hvar.
WHY SUCURAJ
A small village rhythm, with the practical things close by.
Guests often choose Villa Palma because Sucuraj makes the day simple. You can walk to the sea, eat locally, catch the ferry easily and come home to a quiet evening.
Quiet village atmosphere
Nights are calm, and mornings begin with fishing boats, coffee and the sound of the harbour.
Beaches within five minutes
Several swimming spots are close enough for a morning dip before breakfast.

Local konobas serve fresh seafood and Dalmatian dishes without a long drive.
Easy mainland link
The 30-minute ferry to Drvenik keeps arrivals, day trips and onward travel straightforward.
Safe for families
The village is small enough for children to settle in quickly and for parents to relax.
A base for day trips
Visit Hvar Town, Stari Grad, Jelsa and the Makarska Riviera, then return to a quieter part of the island.
Sucuraj still feels like authentic island life: practical, neighbourly and connected to the sea.
